1st Anniversary!

Today I am completing my 1st year anniversary at my organization.. I joined last year Sept 30... wow.. one year had sped past so quickly..

One of the finest manager's in my organization had decided to leave the organization for better opportunities..

Professionally, I am happy that I worked for him during my stay in the organization.. Personally I am losing the opportunity to daily meet and chat with the good human being in my manager.. personally it is very tough to learn and understand that he would be no more in this company...

I wished the very best in his new assignment!

Photography Tricks!

I was impressed with a couple of photos taken by an IRFCA member - Subhabrata Chattopadhyay posted on IRFCA Gallery (Uploads) Section..

There was quite a concern raised by few members about Safety while Photographing trains... bcos in 2 photos he seemed to be photographing the trains at a very close distance..

He had used tricks! - in the first photo, he had triggered the photo with a remote controller by standing safe from the train and in the second photo.. it not the EMU approaching him.. it is moving in the opposite direction... it is the rear of the EMU that has been captured...

Railfanning @ its extreme last week

Inspite of heavy work @ office, I could devote time for railfanning..

Visited Chennai Central on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with PoochiVenkat... it seems we must get a monthly pass for Platform ticket like regular monthly pass for travellers..

Did lots of trainspotting.. rare visitors were @ Chennai.. including Pune's torquoise liveried Shakti, an AJNI WAG7 resting at PF#2 of MAS.. to know more about the locos listed.. visit www.irfca.org

Since Y'day, the IR Suggestions website http://www.irsuggestions.org Message board is down... This place had become a crap bcos of certain individuals who put up nasty comments in fake id's just for irritating other members....

Finally the webmaster has woken up and seems to be doing some cleaning work..
